ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the uniqueness of the amplitudes of the Green function and derives two, seemingly different, spectral representations for the Padé–Lanczos approximant (PLA) to the Green function. It also proves that uniqueness of the general Padé–approximant also implies uniqueness of the PLA.
