ABSTRACT
The usage of a non-zero initial time can be handled easily by spectral methods that are based upon the Green function. The delayed counterpart of the usual Green function emerges naturally in signal processing when the infinite time interval is split into two parts. This chapter presents an equation that gives the relationship between two exact Green function that correspond to the case with and without the delay, respectively.
