ABSTRACT
For the collection of leukocytes, the tissues or organs associated with the immune system are a good source of cells and may be removed whether the animal has been bled or not and/or under sterile or nonsterile conditions. Sterile conditions demand extra care to prevent contamination of the organ and, subsequently, of the cell suspension.
