ABSTRACT

The objective of this book is to present a comprehensive account of fundamental statistical frameworks and methodology for dynamic treatment regimes, thus providing the reader with a foundation for further study of the current and emerging literature. Brief reviews are presented of several additional topics not covered in the book that need or are undergoing development. For each topic, citations to recent work are given. A perspective on the future of the area of dynamic treatment regimes, including the research-practice gap, is also presented.
