ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses how organizations can begin to create a successful plan to kick-start their journey to augmented intelligence. Managers need to be able to appreciate the impact of augmented intelligence on the organization’s ability to increase revenue across business units. The chapter describes approaches that can help an organization get started with a roadmap and plan that helps create value to the business. A typical business unit head is tasked with building their individual business based on profitability and strategy. Business leaders are often evaluated on short-term goals rather than long-term strategy. Business leaders have to mandate data sharing and create a reward system. One of the best ways to change the culture is to educate lines of business managers on the benefits of a new level of data analytics. The value of a data culture can impact all business units. Each area will be able to unleash new business opportunities as they gain insights from the shared data.
