ABSTRACT
In one sense, water and wastewater tends to be a small community, so it is usually worthwhile to check in with key individuals to see what they are working on from time to time. EMBB means that every device can have a high-speed Internet connection at its disposal, just as though it were plugged into a wired network or cable modem. Many systems that apply AI to image processing rely on underlying systems called convolutional neural networks. Surprisingly, graphics processors have enabled the effective deployment of neural networks in modern devices. While virtual reality is often discussed in the context of video games and entertainment, it has applications in the water and wastewater space – especially now that the technology has become portable and can be easily used by individuals without being tethered to a computer. However, showing a pipeline in context can also be useful for planning a major rehabilitation effort.
