ABSTRACT
This chapter provides the reader with a “toolbox” to understand and analyze gas turbine combined cycle power plants including books, periodicals (archival journals and trade publications), software tools, codes and standards. Since this is not a book for beginners, in addition to publications covering specialty topics, suggested materials include textbooks covering fundamentals of key engineering disciplines as well. Pretty much all engineering design, analysis and optimization work in power plant industry is carried out with specialty software. Proficiency in a select few and familiarity with a broad range of products are sine qua non. Thus, this chapter is a must read especially for less experienced readers.
