If there is significant elevation change or undulation within
the field, pressure regulators and/or pressure-compensating
emitters can also be used to improve application uniformity.
Vacuum devices should be included at high points in the
system to facilitate system drainage and reduce the potential
of drawing foreign material into emitters when the system is
shut off.
