ABSTRACT

Porous flow has been a field of study in different areas of

engineering and concerns studying the flow of a fluid inside

a porous matrix. The flow inside the pore structures of the

solid can occur in concurrent transports as a multicompo-

nent transfer process. Studying the flow of one component

saturated transfer inside a porous matrix has possible appli-

cations in the agricultural engineering areas in studying the

convection currents inside and during the coarse of studying

drying mechanisms. One such work has been accomplished

that provided the transient solutions of the flow problem

inside a porous matrix. This study extends the work for

applications to problems with more pronounced boundary

layer effects and discusses some implementation issues.
