ABSTRACT

Today’s employees, raised on television shows, personal

computers, and instant microwave foods, must be intrigued

and actively motivated with attention-getting ‘learning-by-

doing’ training programs.”[1] Effective training can be

imparted through the virtual reality of computer simulations

and role-playing scenarios. Computer simulators and games

have been developed to train and to improve decisions made

in the military, automotive, electronics, and other industries.

A few games have been developed in the area of distributing

food products through supply chains. Notable among them

are the “beer game,”[2] “supply chain management

game,”[3] and “chain game for trading and negotiation.”[4]
