ABSTRACT
This chapter collects a number of special topics related to Bayesian computation, including ideas related to both approximation and simulation. We do not attempt to be comprehensive but rather try to give a sense of different areas of advanced Bayesian computation. The bibliographic note at the end of the chapter gives references to more thorough descriptions of these and other methods.
