ABSTRACT
It takes no great stretch of the imagination to predict that the World Wide Web will remain an important contributot to our information and communication infrastructure for some time to come. We can conclude this because of the historic development of personal computing and its relationship to networks, which while changing drastically over the last few decades, has nevertheless given birth to the Information Age.
