ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Platform. AWS is the leading powerhouse of Cloud computing services. It is used widely by software developers, individuals, businesses, corporations, nonprofit agencies, the federal government, and others. As one can see, AWS Platform is a service that is heavily used by software developers as well in order to create many kinds of complex software as well as web-based applications. AWS Platform has access to various combinations of operating systems and application software application packages. However, the software development team can also have timer-based and application-controlled sessions, as well. For example, successive requests can be routed to the same AWS server, based on the time and applications variables and constraints. The load balancer can also either scale up or scale down the number of servers, depending on how light or heavy the load is.
