ABSTRACT
The excitement and interest in deep learning is everywhere, capturing the imaginations of private companies, governments, and even patients. Along with the development of artificial intelligence applications, the challenges it faces today seem to be yet very serious, which is not allowing to have a perfectly intelligent system. However, recognizing and working on these challenges can help propel the further growth of AI. First, this chapter discusses the most common challenges that deep learning is facing today.Then, it shows how the fourth industrial revolution has already started to transform the world where deep neural network applications are potentially limitless. With an extremely high number of use cases anda growing number of data to support these technologies, this chapter discusses how the deep learning will playa key role in delivering the highest quality care to consumers in the very nearfuture, opening new ideas for further development.
