ABSTRACT

The red traffic light means of course that you and your vehicle are stopped. Amber warns that the light is about to turn red and you must brake, or it alerts you that it is about to turn green. When green you are allowed to move forward. In some countries there is no amber alert when the lights turn from red to green, in the United States for example. From this everyday example we have two situations in the workplace where the Red, Amber and Green (RAG) colour code can be applied.
