ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will present the concluding remarks of this book. The present book was majorly arranged to cover the lack of a general reference for the wave propagation problem in small-scale continuous beam- and plate-type elements attacked by elastic waves. The most crucial issue presented in the present book was the formulation of the wave propagation problem within nanobeams and nanoplates in the framework of the nonlocal strain gradient elasticity hypothesis in association with both the classical and refined shear deformable beam and plate theories.
