ABSTRACT
I was participating in a user experience (UX) careers panel discussion and someone in the audience asked: “So, what is the next big thing, and how will that impact UX careers in the future?” This is a great multi-faceted question, so while I gave a brief answer at the panel discussion, to answer this question more fully I turn to Jonathan Follett, author of Designing for Emerging Technologies: UX for Genomics, Robotics and the Internet of Things.
