ABSTRACT

Recently, the organic and inorganic nanofillers performance has found a favorable role due to their excellent functional properties and wide range of applications in almost every area. This chapter provides a brief overview of the different organic- and inorganic-based nanofillers and the improvements in the mechanical properties of the matrix composites with the addition of them. This review also focuses on the issues related to the synthesis methods and nanofiller improvement theories within the polymeric composites.
