ABSTRACT

Oil spill monitoring includes field investigation, oil spill sample collection, oil spill identification and quantitative analysis of oil spills, and it is an important process of oil spill emergency response. After an oil spill accident occurs, emergency personnel must go to the scene of the accident for the first time to investigate, so as to obtain relevant information of the accident. In the process of large-scale marine oil spill accidents, most of them involve the assessment of the degree of water pollution in the polluted waters and the degree of pollution of aquatic organisms. During emergency monitoring of marine oil spill accidents, the type of oil spill should be determined first, and the physical and chemical properties should be understood. If the variety of oil spill cannot be identified or its physical and chemical properties cannot be found, a plan should be formulated immediately for sampling and measurement.
