ABSTRACT
Naive Bayes is a probabilistic classifier based on the Bayes theorem that uses very strong assumptions on the independence between the predictors. These assumptions rarely hold for real-world problems-and thus the name naive. Nevertheless, this method has been successfully applied to a large number of real-world applications.
