ABSTRACT
Image representations are mainly used for content analysis of the image, image recognition, or image classification. Lot of images as part of the video are captured and used for image recognition purpose, in support of cyber investigations. These image recognition systems are developed over the given image databases. Image is a two-dimensional array of pixels where each pixel is represented by RGB vector for color image and single dimensional for grayscale image. In case of color images, pixel has several values. The chapter focuses on using Coefficient of Variation (CV) as an operator for a window of size w to arrive at a derived image. The CV features and bit vectors corresponding to predefined CV Thresholds for a given image are used as feature vector. CV Image is the representation of an image by using coefficient of variation.
