ABSTRACT

This chapter introduces and analyzes several types of stationary (aka steady-state) “dams” where the rate of inputs is a Poisson process and input sizes are https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> = d https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9780429297601/14442e7e-1dcb-40d5-bc26-b3039a19098c/content/math7_1.tif" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"/> Exp μ . More general dams where the rate of inputs is a non-Markovian process (i.e., not a Poisson process) are given in Chapters 6 and 8 in [22], “Time-dependent” (aka transient) analyses of dams using LC are analyzed in Chapter 6 in [22] (2017), in [12] (1988), and in [13] (1988).
