ABSTRACT
I got an offer to go to work at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory [7. 1 ]. I finally ended up in Jerry Wiesner’s office [7. 2 ]. I had already decided to join Lincoln. We were negotiating the terms of the offer. He was at that time, I think, head of the MIT RLE, or at least one of the assistant heads, I guess, assistant head to Al Hill [5.3]. But also a big shot in the planning of Lincoln Laboratory. He was on some sort of committee.
