ABSTRACT
The preceding chapters of this book offer a valuable and integrated approach that yields new ideas and insights about the critical concepts, techniques, and value of geographic data science for segmenting small geographic areas. This final chapter concludes the book by pooling together a series of stylized facts that summarize key contributions to knowledge. The chapter is written in way that enables practitioner and scholarly communities that work at the vanguard of machine learning and geographic data science for public policy to think about what the future holds for data and methods illustrated throughout the book.
