ABSTRACT
The numerical simulation is carried out by the proposed model for Shirasu which is a popular volcanic soil and was sampled from Sendai River in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The parameters of the original and corrected pore size distributions for the soil water characteristic curve and the coefficient of water permeability are listed. Soil water characteristic curve shows the original and corrected soil water characteristic curves with the plots obtained from the water retention soil test. Coefficient of water permeability shows the original and corrected water permeability functions with the plots obtained from the water permeability soil test.
