ABSTRACT
The chapter summarizes the new weave patterns, which can be obtained through a merging of two or more basic patterns. It presents the methods for the design of horizontal and vertical stripes on the cloth, as well as the methods for obtaining cell-like effects like square weaves and fancy basket weave. All weaves are presented together with expressions for the calculation of the weave repeat. Several patterns are developed for illustration of the methods.
