ABSTRACT

A method for the design of weave patterns, based on the Boolean operations in the mathematics of logic is presented. It uses the analogy between the weave diagram with warp and weft overlaps and a matrix. The design method explains the possible Boolean operations, which can be used over two basic weaves, i.e., matrices. The features of the implementations of the method discuss the effects of the basic weave designation and commence. The assessment of the new weave is discussed in detail, together with the application of the method.
