ABSTRACT

Releasing a game can be a time-consuming and arduous process, especially if we haven’t done it before. The process depends heavily on our target platforms. This chapter prepares DotGame3D for release on Windows PC. It discusses how to make a Windows build for DotGame3D and install and run it on one or more of other PCs. The chapter covers planning for a release on Windows PC. When we release to the public we might wish to develop a custom Icon and Cursor. The Unity Profiler allows us to visualize where our game is spending its time. This helps us make our game perform better. The chapter discusses useful information about our memory usage.
