ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an introduction to green logistics and green transportation. It encourages all stakeholders to consider the impact of their actions on the environment. The chapter begins with describing the conventional logistics and reverse logistics also addresses what greening means to logistics. It highlights the concept and components of green logistics, the parties involved in green logistics, its applications, and how to enhance awareness about it. The chapter also addresses benefits and challenges of green logistics and considers the green transportation, its strategies, benefits, and challenges. The last section concludes the chapter.
