ABSTRACT
Chapter 4 treats the analysis of coding techniques to improve the bit error rate (BER) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. The performance analysis of the coded and uncoded OFDM systems for WiMAX networks is described together with the turbo coding for the IEEE 802.16e standard for WiMAX. In addition, an excellent discussion on artificial intelligence (AI) enabled turbo-coded OFDM system for BER improvement is discussed.
