ABSTRACT
Codec design is covered entirely in Chapter 5. The transceiver system in WiMAX is introduced in conjunction with a novel approach for the codec design and its implementation in MATLAB. An optimal codec design for mobile communication system is also discussed together with the modeling and simulation of spectrum sending smart codec for cognitive radio.
