ABSTRACT
Chapter 6 begins with discussion on different digital modulation techniques for SDR. The BER analysis in presence of additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN), adaptive modulation, and coding is discussed in brief. Other modulation techniques such as M-QAM for DVB-T, DVB-T2 digital radio and television broadcasting, GMSK is also presented. A comparative study of the different modulation scheme is also deliberated. A practical implementation of SDR-based modulator design using GNU radio is presented at the end.
