ABSTRACT
This chapter describes methods of investigating structure and chemical composition. In this chapter, X-ray diffraction, extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy, and application of Fourier fitting to extract the structural information from EXAFS spectra and X-ray electron spectroscopy are discussed.
