ABSTRACT
The analysis of a simple single story single bay frame is much easier through the stiffness method. The method becomes more complicated, when the members in the structure are not orthogonal to each other. A typical example of such a structure is a jacket platform, which is a template structure acted upon by wave forces. The members in a jacket platform are always not orthogonal to each other.
