ABSTRACT
141 A 13-year-old male Yorkshire terrier presents with difficulty breathing. His respiratory signs are reported to be worse at night and when he exercises, gets excited, and in warm weather. He has days where he also exhibits a harsh, dry cough. Historically, the dog had pneumonia when he was younger and his owner reports he has had episodes of coughing ever since.
