ABSTRACT

45 A 2-year-old castrated male Bengal cat is presented to your clinic for evaluation of diarrhea of 2-month duration and defecation outside of the litter box. The cat is noted to defecate frequently and occasionally exhibits tenesmus. The diarrhea is fetid. The cat has access to the outdoors, is up-to-date on vaccines and receives a monthly heartworm but no flea preventative. On physical exam, the cat’s body condition score is 4 out of 9. No abnormalities are noted on physical exam. Results of performed diagnostics are below.
