ABSTRACT

In the past decade, multi-agent systems (MASs) have captured considerable research attention due to their extensive applications in a wide variety of areas involving chemistry manufacturing industries, geological exploration, building automation and military industries. It should be emphasized that the consensus problem for multi-agent systems has attracted special interest because of its clear practical insights. So far, many research fruits have been available in the literature and quite a lot of analysis as well as design methodologies have been exploited to deal with the consensus problems for various types of MASs.
