ABSTRACT
This chapter of the book is devoted to examples of building up unit rates from basic principles, referred to throughout this book as resource estimating. The examples are based on the RICS NRM2, although the techniques used equally apply to other codes of measurement. Note that the enhanced labour rates used in the following examples were calculated previously in Chapter 3.
