ABSTRACT

This chapter explains practice questions to help readers hone their knowledge and test their skills. It provides all five of the program management domains: Strategic Program Management, Program Management Life Cycle, Benefits Management, Stakeholder Management, and Governance. Program benefits management defines, creates, maximizes, and delivers the program's benefits. In non-commercial organizations benefits delivered in the form of societal value such as improved health, safety, or security. Benefit is the gains and assets realized in the organization and by stakeholders based on outcomes delivered by the program. A reduction in personnel or consolidation of positions is two examples of negative impacts from a benefit. Prepare intended benefits for the resulting change and be able to sustain the benefits as long as possible are the two items should be done when incremental benefits are produced. Benefit management support the roadmap by establishing the architecture to map how the components will deliver capabilities and outcomes intended to achieve program benefits.
