ABSTRACT
Because of the time pressure of projects, there is a great temptation to begin work on a project immediately upon receiving the project assignment, without starting the project appropriately. Th is can lead to unrealistic project objectives, unclear project role defi nitions, and unclear project stakeholder relations. A professional project start can prevent these problems and ensure adequate project management quality.
