ABSTRACT
4.1.1 Joint and connection design of CFDST structures should meet the requirements of strength, stiffness, stability and seismic performance to ensure that the force can be transferred effectively and that the inner tube, the outer tube and the concrete could work together, making it easier for manufacturing and installation. Proper concrete placement methods should be chosen to ensure the density of concrete in the joint area.
