ABSTRACT
LABVIEW is graphical programming platform which has become popular in research labs, academia and industrial setup. It is a powerful and versatile analysis and instrumentation software system for measurement and automation. This chapter includes a brief glimpse of LabVIEW, virtual instrumentation, the relationship between VI and LabVIEW, basics of LabVIEW which includes a user interface and the front panel, with controls and indicators. This chapter includes programming with LabVIEW which consists of arrays, loops, clusters, structures, plotting of data, etc. It also gives the detailed, step-by-step procedures to install the software and do licensing setup with ease.
