ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses how to save plotly graphs as HTML, embed them within larger HTML documents, interactively edit (i.e., post-process) them, and export to static file formats – all of which can be useful tools for creating ‘publication-quality’ graphics. Static images can be created either from the command line (via the orca() function) or from the interactive graphic itself. The former is great if there is a need to export many images at once, and the latter is convenient if a manually edited version of the default view is to be exported.
