ABSTRACT
Due to the varying environments in which PPG-based portable or wearable devices are used and, consequently, their varying susceptibility to noise interference, the effective processing of PPG signals is challenging. Thus, the aim of this chapter is to give an overview on how to design and implement a digital filter, rather than a hardware filter, using MATLAB for PPG applications.
