ABSTRACT

The advancement of technology has made a huge change in most of the professions and in all functions of management. Human Resource Management (HRM) is one of the areas impacted. It has been increasingly affected by the constantly developing new trends and has introduced e-HRM. The e-HRM is one of the information technology systems that includes the Web, and is designed for HR professionals and top management. It supports to manage the workforce, monitor changes, gather information needed in decision-making, and at the same time, the employees are able to contribute in the process and keep track of significant information. e-HRM enables easy interactions within employee and employers, where they contact these functions using the intranet or other web-technology networks. The implementation of e-HRM will consistently provide greater benefits toward the organization. The service and information quality impacts satisfaction toward the employees. e-HRM offers advantage of reducing the costs unlike the traditional HRM systems before. It can also lead to improved levels of satisfaction, motivations, and increased employees’ performances. This eventually improves the ability of organization to compete more effectively and efficiently. Fully developed e-HRM can provide analysis capabilities and decision support systems for HR to pay, promote, assign, terminate, and reward the employees. It acts as a gathering data tool. It also can support the organization’s goals.
