ABSTRACT
In this book, we introduce several “laboratory experiments” that we call the “Hack Labs.” In each case, the student participating in the laboratory will be expected to learn a number of techniques that should assist them as they develop as cyberdefenders.
In this first lab, we attempt to emulate what is generally called social engineering, and in other contexts “dumpster diving.”
