ABSTRACT
Today and tomorrow is all about smart and savvy connected devices and applications. The term device from the perspective of mobile networks is rather broad and can include feature phones, smart phones, tablets, wearables, and even sensors. This chapter describes the possibilities for addressing the following device relevant requirements of 5G as identified by ITU-R in Rec. ITU-R M.2083-0 [1].
