ABSTRACT
Hydrogen is the first element in the periodic table with the atomic number 1; therefore, it is the lightest of all gases. On the earth hydrogen occurs chiefly in combination with oxygen as water. It is the most abundant element in the universe. It is a colorless, tasteless, and odorless gas and liquefies at atmospheric pressure at 20.27 K.
