ABSTRACT

Thermodynamic properties of working fluid in a thermal system play an important role in its evaluation. Evaluation of properties for binary fluid mixture is complex compared to single fluid system due to additional property of concentration. The regions of phase with reference to bubble-point temperature and dew-point temperature are described to understand the state of fluid. The Gibbs function is derived to generate the properties and the derived properties are presented with the equation fitting coefficients. A methodology has been developed to identify the region of fluid from the randomly supplied properties, that is, pressure, temperature, and concentration. The resulted properties are arranged in tabular form and charts in Appendix section.
