ABSTRACT

At the first stages of its development, the work on the creation of television imaging systems was carried out mainly in two directions. The first direction was based on the idea of controlling an electron beam by means of electromagnetic modulation and deflection devices and further converting the energy of electrons into visible radiation on a luminophore screen. This idea was reflected in the creation of electron-beam tubes, which for a long time were the main elements of television imaging devices [1]. Another direction was the work on the direct use of the energy of light beams to create a television image on the projection screen.
